Will Levis Will Remain Titans' Starting QB After Packers Loss, Brian Callahan Says

Jack MurraySep 22, 2024

Will Levis will remain the Tennessee Titans starting quarterback.

Following the Titans 30-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Titans head coach Brian Callahan confirmed that Levis would still be the starter and said that the team needs to improve around him.

"We've got to play better around him," Callahan told reporters. "I'm not going to overreact to an interception, these things happen. Guys throw picks."

Levis went 26-of-34 for 260 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also lost a fumble.

The second-year quarterback demonstrated an ability to move the ball down the field and deliver some offense but the turnovers really helped swing the game Green Bay's way.

Still, it was his most productive game of the season and positives can be gleaned from the effort. However, Tennessee is now 0-3 and questions are going to arise due to that poor record.

Mason Rudolph is the Titans' current backup and if Levis continues to turn the ball over at a rapid rate, Rudolph could be destined for an opportunity.
