Patriots OC: Rhamondre Stevenson 'Has a Target on His Back' After Fumble vs. Jets
Ball security has been an issue in Rhamondre Stevenson's career. He had four fumbles in 2022 and already has an NFL-worst three fumbles this season, a trend he needs to change, and quickly.
"Job security is ball security and now he has a target on his back," Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt told ESPN's Mike Reiss. "Teams are going to see that and they're going to come after the football. I know he'll address it. I know he's proud about [being secure with the ball] and he'll be better because of it."
"I've got to hold the ball," Stevenson himself added.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The veteran running back has been productive when he hasn't been losing the football, rushing for 211 yards and two touchdowns this season. He's been at the center of the team's commitment to being a run-first offense this season, but holding onto the football is paramount.
If that remains an issue, players like Antonio Gibson and Jamycal Hasty will take on a bigger role for the Pats.
