FSU's DJ Uiagalelei, HC Norvell Trolled By CFB Fans After Narrow Win vs. California

After three straight losses to start the season, Florida State finally has its first win.

The Seminoles beat undefeated California 14-9 to snap the ugly losing streak as they try to make the most of a season that already feels like a disaster.

Even in the win, the Seminoles' issues that led to an 0-3 start were still evident.

Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has struggled early on this season, and things didn't change much on Saturday. He finished with 177 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception, completing 16 of his 27 passes.

For a quarterback playing his fifth collegiate season, Uiagalelei still can't seem to find his rhythm and guide his offense down the field consistently.

In total, the Seminoles' offense mustered just 284 total yards.

With its offense lacking, Florida State's defense was solid, especially on Cal's final drive of the game as it kept the Golden Bears out of the end zone after making it into the red zone.

While the Seminoles managed to pick up a win, fans trolled Florida State for that win coming so late in the season.

Florida State's College Football Playoff hopes are long gone after starting the season 0-3, but the Seminoles can still put together a solid season if they capitalize off of the momentum from Saturday's win.

The biggest point of emphasis moving forward will be the offense. The Seminoles' defense has proved to be at least somewhat capable of competing with other ACC teams, but Uiagalelei and the offense are far from doing so.

Florida State will face another new member of the ACC next week as it takes on SMU, which won't be an easy opponent after the Mustangs downed TCU on Saturday to improve to 3-1.
