Photo: Celtics' Jayson Tatum Gets Back Tattoo of Himself Holding NBA Title Trophy

Jayson Tatum commemorated the Boston Celtics' 2024 NBA Finals victory with a new tattoo on his back.

The tattoo, which features Tatum holding the Larry O'Brien Trophy, was revealed on Thursday.

The Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks in five games, earning the franchise's 18th championship.

The 26-year-old has been getting some new ink throughout the offseason, as he previously shared a tattoo of the Kobe Bryant MVP award that he received during the 2023 All-Star Game on Aug. 23.

Tatum struggled to start Boston's series against Dallas, scoring just 34 total points on 12-38 shooting during the first two games. He was able to bounce back, averaging 25.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3 percent from the field over the final three contests.

This included a double-double to help the Celtics close out the series, dropping 31 points and pulling down 11 rebounds in Game 5.

"This is going to be a night that I will remember for the rest of my life," Tatum said after the game, per NBC Sports Boston. "From the game, the celebration, these moments."

The five-time All-Star has stayed busy over the summer, as he was a member of the United States men's basketball team that took home a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With the 2024-25 NBA season approaching, Tatum will look to help Boston defend its title and attempt to become the first back-to-back champions since the Golden State Warriors in 2018.
