Derek Carr Says His Brothers Told Him to Do Michael Jackson's Dance on TD Celebration
The New Orleans Saints have gotten off to a scorching start to the 2024 season, and the team's success has brought out a different side of veteran quarterback Derek Carr.
After scoring a touchdown on a quarterback sneak during Sunday's 44-19 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys, Carr broke out some dance moves made famous by Michael Jackson. He told ESPN's Katherine Terrell that his brothers implored him to show the colorful parts of his personality more this season.
"People don't know a lot of stuff about me. ... Weddings or birthdays, I'm always dancing," Carr said. "One time I hit the Michael Jackson and [my brothers] were like 'Bro, you have to do that if you score.'"

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The Saints have impressed with back-to-back 40-point games to start the season. Their 91 combined points are the most since the first two games of the 2009 campaign.
Carr has looked more comfortable in his second season in New Orleans. The 33-year-old has thrown for 443 yards, five touchdowns and an interception while leading the NFL with a total QBR of 96.6. If he can keep this up, he will likely be breaking out more dance moves throughout this season.
Carr and the Saints will try to keep the good vibes going when they return to action on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
