Raiders' Maxx Crosby Posts Kobe Bryant Photo After Upset of Lamar Jackson, Ravens

Maxx Crosby embraced his inner Mamba Mentality on Sunday.

The Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end posted a picture of NBA legend Kobe Bryant on social media following an upset win over the Baltimore Ravens on the road.

The photo he chose to post shows Bryant silencing the crowd while playing for Team USA.

Crosby anchored the Raiders' defense, picking up a pair of sacks, four tackles for loss and six total tackles as Las Vegas took down one of the top teams in the AFC. On the other side of the ball, quarterback Gardner Minshew had 276 passing yards and a touchdown while wide receiver Davante Adams picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Crosby had the best season of his career a year ago, recording 90 total tackles and career-highs in sacks with 14.5 and tackles for loss with 16.5. After the first two weeks of the season, he's on pace to surpass both of those numbers and perhaps put his name in the running for Defensive Player of the Year.

The Raiders are looking to turn things around after back-to-back losing seasons that led to head coach Josh McDaniels being fired halfway through the 2023 season. While they dropped their Week 1 matchup to the Los Angeles Chargers, they already have a signature win to show for after downing the Ravens.

Las Vegas has a somewhat manageable slate in the coming weeks as it will face the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos, which could give the Raiders the chance to pick up a handful of wins and some much-needed momentum.
