On a wild Sunday full of upsets, Gardner Minshew was not to be outdone.

The Las Vegas Raiders quarterback led his team to 13 unanswered points in the fourth-quarter and a surprise 26-23 win over Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

Minshew finished the game 30-of-38 for 276 yards, a touchdown and an interception while dealing with a fearsome Baltimore pass rush that sacked him five times and hit him on 10 occasions.

He had plenty of help from superstar wideout Davante Adams (nine catches for 110 yards and a score) and rookie tight end Brock Bowers (nine catches for 98 yards).

After the game, fans and pundits alike gave that trio their deserved flowers:

The Raiders will be thrilled to see the offense find its rhythm after being held to 16 points through the first six quarters of the season. Alexander Mattison's one-yard plunge in the third quarter started the floodgates before Minshew and the Raiders put up 13 points in the fourth.

As for Jackson and the Ravens, the star quarterback finished 21-of-34 for 247 yards, a touchdown, an interception and two sacks taken. Derrick Henry (18 carries for 84 yards and a score) and Zay Flowers (seven catches for 91 yards) were solid as well, but the offensive line was an issue for the second straight week.

The Ravens—believed to be a Super Bowl contender heading into the season—are now 0-2 on the year, with a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys next weekend. The Raiders, on the other hand, improved to 1-1 and now await the woeful Carolina Panthers.
