NFL Fans Troll David Tepper, Bryce Young as Panthers Disappoint vs. Chargers

Zach BacharSep 15, 2024

The Carolina Panthers are off to a rough start to the 2024 season.

After losing to the New Orleans Saints by the final score of 47-10 in Week 1, the Panthers looked sluggish on both sides of the ball once again on Sunday.

Carolina was held scoreless in the first half and wasn't able to get going after halftime, trailing 23-3 to the Los Angeles Chargers entering the fourth quarter.

Through three quarters of play, Bryce Young was 10-of-14 for a mere 41 yards to go along with an interception. He was also sacked sacked twice.

Head coach Dave Canales' team was unable to consistently move the chains, mustering just 97 total yards of offense and picking up four first downs entering the final quarter.

Even though Canales met with team owner David Tepper after Carolina's 37-point loss to open the season, it didn't appear to solve any issues in Week 2. Fans called out Tepper and Young throughout Sunday's contest.

After finishing with a league-worst 2-15 record last season, it appears as though the Panthers still have lots of work to do before attempting to secure the organization's first playoff appearance since 2017.
