"I can't wait to give fans a true glimpse into the lives of their favorite wide receivers and the real conversations we share with each other about football and life," Samuel said. "B/R is the perfect platform to host the show, and I'm excited to join their team of athletes doing new things in the social space."
Cleats and Convos with Deebo Samuel joins the B/R stable of athlete-led video series that also includes The Edge featuring Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons and On Base with Mookie Betts.
Parsons, who is also president of B/R Gridiron, welcomed Samuel to the team as part of the announcement:
"The addition of Deebo and Cleats and Convos to our roster of athlete-led shows is a huge win for the B/R Gridiron team and, most importantly, the fans who look to B/R for real sports content. Deebo and I are ultimate competitors on the field, but I couldn't be happier about welcoming him to the B/R Gridiron team."
Samuel just started his sixth NFL season. He was originally a second-round draft pick by the 49ers in 2019. The 28-year-old was named to the All-Pro first team in 2021 after leading the league with 18.2 yards per reception and setting career highs in receiving yards (1,405), yards from scrimmage (1,770) and total touchdowns (14).
The 49ers have made the postseason four times, won the NFC West three times and advanced to the Super Bowl twice during Samuel's career.
