Video: Tom Brady Gives Cowboys' Micah Parsons 1st Ever LFG Player of the Game Award

Dallas Cowboys star edge rusher Micah Parsons is already one of the best defensive players in the NFL, and now he has the unique distinction of being Tom Brady's first-ever LFG Player of the Game.

Brady, who made his broadcasting debut on Fox during the Cowboys' 33-17 win over the Cleveland Browns, awarded Parsons with the honor after he racked up four tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss in the victory.

"It's fun being up here and not having you chase me around," Brady told Parsons. "To see you from this perspective, man, you played a great game today. ... You get so many double-teams out there, but you still find a way to make an impact. Way to go."

Parsons expressed gratitude for the 47-year-old's kind words and added that he's been following advice that Brady gave him over the offseason.

The three-time Pro Bowler will be eligible for a contract extension after the 2024 campaign, so it can be expected that he will be motivated to have another dominant season. The LFG Player of the Game award is a strong way to start the year.

Parsons will look to build off his success in the season opener when the Cowboys host the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
