Video: Brett Favre Hypes Aaron Rodgers, 'Can Make Chicken Salad Out of Chicken S--t'
Ahead of the New York Jets' season opener against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, Aaron Rodgers received a vote of confidence from another legendary quarterback.
While speaking to TMZ, Brett Favre said he believes Rodgers is still "arguably the greatest playmaker in the game right now" and added that the 40-year-old could put the Jets in a position to compete for an AFC championship if he stays healthy.
"For lack of a better term, he can make chicken salad out of chicken s--t pretty quickly," Favre said.

Rodgers, who began his career as the backup to Favre with the Green Bay Packers, had his debut with the Jets cut short by a torn Achilles suffered four plays into the 2023 season opener. The four-time NFL MVP is fully recovered, but he didn't play in any of New York's three preseason games to test out his surgically repaired leg.
The Jets had a solid offseason by fortifying their offensive line and adding a few playmakers around Rodgers, so if all goes well, this could be the year they end their 13-year playoff drought.
New York's quest for success will begin with Monday's game against San Francisco, so fans will certainly be excited to see Rodgers back on the field for the first time in a year.
