The second-year pro notably led the Texans on a pair of 70-yard touchdown drives in the fourth quarter. The first drive included this incredible cross-body throw on the run to Nico Collins.
Running back Joe Mixon capped the drive with a three-yard rush.
Diggs' two-yard catch ended the second.
Richardson only completed 9-of-19 throws, but he finished with 212 yards and two touchdowns (one interception) while adding 56 rushing yards and another score. The ex-Florida star hit Alec Pierce for a 60-yard score and Ashton Dulin for a 54-yard touchdown.
Richardson's three-yard TD run helped cut the Texans' lead to 29-27 with 2:14 left in regulation. A 58-yarder to Pierce, showing off Richardson's rocket arm, helped set up the score.
However, Stroud and the Texans ran out the clock, thanks in part to this tremendous Collins 12-yard catch on 3rd-and-11.
While Houston came away with the win, fans were impressed with both young AFC South quarterbacks, who clearly have very bright futures ahead.
Houston will now welcome the Chicago Bears on Sunday evening, Sept. 15. Meanwhile, the Colts will visit the Green Bay Packers on that same afternoon.
