Video: Travis Kelce Confirms Taylor Swift Has Drawn Up Plays for Mahomes, Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce confirmed that singer Taylor Swift has tried her hand at drawing up plays for the defending Super Bowl champions.
"She has just been so open to learning the game," Kelce told Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show (13:35 mark.) "She didn't know much about the rules and everything. And I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she's so detailed in every aspect of it, from the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything, she's so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is already familiar with some of Swift's plays. The reigning Super Bowl MVP was the first person to bring up the singer's interest in the game during a recent interview with NFL on NBC's Chris Simms.
"She's really interested in football, and she asks a lot of great questions," Mahomes said about Swift. "Started drawing up plays. We might have to put one in."
Kelce noted that even if Mahomes is familiar with Swift's work, the draft plays haven't yet made it to the desk of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
"I don't think— well, I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach Reid yet," Kelce told Eisen. "But if they ever do, I'll make sure everyone knows it was her creation... she's a little biased and just creates plays for me, so we'll see if they can make it to Coach Reid's office."
"She's scheming you open, is basically what you're saying," Eisen answered.
"Oh yeah," Kelce confirmed. "Just gotta give me the option... I'm letting her know. Just give me the option, I'll figure it out."
After receiving a team-high 121 targets during the 2023 regular season, Kelce is set to remain a key part of the Chiefs' passing game whether or not Swift is involved when the regular season kicks off on Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens.
