Justin Tucker Talks Plan for Ravens-Chiefs Pregame After Viral Mahomes, Kelce Video
Justin Tucker is not interested in revisiting the past.
The Baltimore Ravens kicker made headlines for his pregame routine in the 2024 AFC Championship when Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes both took issue with Tucker's equipment being in the area of where Mahomes was warming up.
Tucker did not engage with the frustration at the time and it looks like his stance has not changed ahead of the rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs to open up the 2024 season.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
"All I'll say about it is I'm excited to go into a great environment, play against a great football team, with great players, great coaches, and do everything I can to prepare myself to be ready to contribute to the Ravens winning a football game," Tucker said, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "And that's all I got to say about it."
The Chiefs won that game over Tucker's Ravens, 17-10, and ultimately beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII two weeks later. This was the second consecutive Super Bowl win for Kelce, Mahomes and the Chiefs and solidified the team's claim as the team to beat in the AFC.
Heading into that Conference Championship, Baltimore thought it would take that claim. The Ravens had gone 12-5 in the regular season and earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The team would defeat the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round and that opportunity against the Chiefs looked promising.
With that experience in the rearview, Tucker will hope to remain an elite kicker and help Baltimore earn another No. 1 seed and advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2012.
The Ravens will face the Chiefs on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET.
