Nacua suffered a knee injury in early August. He took part in drills for the first time since the injury on Aug. 26.
He originally suffered the injury while trying to make a catch in a red zone drill during a joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was initially considered week-to-week, but this positive development is huge for the Rams offense.
Nacua burst onto the scene as a rookie, making 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. He would earn a Pro Bowl nod for his efforts and would finish second for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
He will play alongside Cooper Kupp in the receiver room and will serve as a major target for quarterback Matt Stafford. The Rams went 10-7 in 2023 and reached the playoffs for the first time since winning Super Bowl LVI.
The season opener against the Lions is set to kick off Sept. 8 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
