Fantasy Alert: Jets' Mike Williams Available for Week 1 vs. 49ers After Injury Rehab
New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams will be ready to go for Week 1.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh announced that the 29-year-old had a strong day of practice on Thursday and would be available for New York's season-opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

"He's going to be available Week 1," Saleh told reporters. "We're going to be very smart with how we use him but he is going to be plenty available to make his mark felt."
Williams had his 2023 season with the Los Angeles Chargers cut to just three games after suffering a torn ACL. Prior to the injury, he had 19 catches for 249 yards and a touchdown.
He has eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards twice in his career and has 4,806 career receiving yards and 31 touchdowns across seven seasons.
The Jets were led by Garrett Wilson's 1,042 receiving yards in 2023, but the depth behind Wilson struggled. Williams could factor in as a solid second option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who intends on having his first healthy season with the franchise.
New York went 7-10 in 2023 and has not reached the postseason since 2010. With Rodgers, Wilson and Williams in the fold, the franchise hopes to change that in 2024.
