LeBron James revealed his Mt. Rushmore of quarterbacks throughout NFL history in a DraftKings social media post on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar started by listing Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Joe Montana. James initially chose John Elway as the fourth member of the list, although he altered his choice to include Peyton Manning.

"I would do a toss-up between Elway and Peyton Manning," he said.

Brady's inclusion isn't surprising, as the NFL's all-time passing leader won seven Super Bowls during his storied playing career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His 649 passing touchdowns are also the highest mark in the league's history.

At just 28 years old, Mahomes is continuing to hear his name next to the all-time greats. The Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller is coming off the third Super Bowl victory of his career and also has two MVPs under his belt.

Despite recording a career-high 14 interceptions in 2023, Mahomes still racked up 4,183 yards and 27 touchdown passes. He averaged 262.8 yards per game through the air in four playoff games, including 333 yards during the Chiefs' 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.

Fans aren't the only ones comparing the two quarterbacks, with an anonymous NFL defensive coordinator recently saying that Mahomes is "like Brady when Brady was in his prime" (via Mike Sando of The Athletic).

ESPN conducted a poll of 103 NFL players on Tuesday, with 85 of them voting Brady as the greatest of all time compared to just seven votes for the Chiefs passer. However, several players claimed that Mahomes would win if the question was about overall talent level.

James didn't choose between Mahomes or Brady in his list on Wednesday, although they were the first two players that he chose for his personal Mt. Rushmore of quarterbacks.
