Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
After another good game from Maye to cap off the preseason, NFL fans had high praise for the No. 3 overall pick.
While Maye exited the game with a 7-0 lead at halftime, Washington pulled out a 20-10 victory behind 17 fourth-quarter points.
After Sunday's preseason finale, Maye finished the preseason with 192 passing yards and a touchdown while playing limited action in three games.
The North Carolina product looked NFL-ready while going up against pro competition for the first time, now the question is whether he'll be able to help the Patriots start to turn things around in his first season.
Amid another solid showing from Maye, his QB1 competition Jacoby Brissett exited the game early with a shoulder injury. The severity of that injury is still unclear, but if he has to miss any time it will likely mean Maye is the starter out of the gate.
