Little League World Series Bracket 2024: Florida vs. Chinese Taipei Championship Set

The stage is set for the Championship of the Little League World Series.

Chinese Taipei emerged victorious in the International bracket with a 4-1 victory over Venezuela. On the U.S. side, Florida knocked out Texas in a dramatic 10-7 victory.

Chinese Taipei 4, Venezuela 1

Chinese Taipei's run of dominance did not stop in the International Championship.

Another strong performance from pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi steered the team to a 4-1 victory.

Chinese-Taipei scored runs in the first, third and fifth innings. It did this despite getting just three hits. Cheng-Xi went 5.1 innings and allowed just three hits, one run and he struck out 12 batters.

Chinese-Taipei advances to the title game for the first time since 2009.

Florida 10, Texas 7

Florida was consistently down but it was never out.

The boys from Lake Mary avenged an earlier loss to Southwest with a 10-7 victory in order to win the U.S. title. Florida was down 4-0 through three innings and entered the fifth down 4-1. However, some heroics in the final two innings led the team to nine runs and a win.

The two teams combined for 12 runs across the final two innings but it is Florida that will represent the U.S. in the championship.

The Southeast region will be in the title game for the first time since 2012. Florida has not produced a U.S. champion since 2003.

The Little League World Series Championship Game is set for Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
