Jaguars' Mac Jones Hyped as QB1 Material By NFL Fans After Preseason Win vs. Falcons
After his time with the New England Patriots came to an end this offseason, Mac Jones is proving he's still capable of being a starting quarterback.
The Jacksonville Jaguars signal-caller has put together a strong preseason, capping it off with a solid performance in a 31-0 win against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday. Jones finished the matchup with 113 passing yards and a touchdown on 13-of-18 passing.
After another impressive outing, fans argued that Jones could start for a number of NFL teams.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
In his first preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jones had 98 passing yards on 9-of-11 passing. He followed that up by throwing for 210 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jones struggled in his final year with the Patriots last season, throwing for 2,120 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games. It was clear both he and New England needed a change, and getting a fresh start in Jacksonville could help Jones revamp his career.
While it's unlikely Jones will dethrone Trevor Lawrence as the Jags' starting quarterback this season, Jacksonville can rest assured that he could hold his own if he's called upon this year. Jones will also be a free agent next offseason, so he could find his way to a new team and return to a starting role.
