Report: Anthony Davis, Edwards to Ring Walk with Floyd Mayweather at John Gotti Fight

Team USA stars Anthony Davis and Anthony Edwards will be part of Floyd Mayweather's entourage when the boxing legend fights John Gotti III, according to TMZ Sports.

The pair of NBA All-Stars are a few weeks removed from winning gold in the 2024 Summer Olympics. The United States atoned for its fourth-place showing in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup to come out on top for the fifth straight Summer Games.

Mayweather, who retired as a pro boxer with a perfect 50-0 record in 2017, has found a lucrative path through unofficial exhibitions.

The 47-year-old last went up against Gotti in June 2023. The event ended in a no contest and devolved into a brawl in the ring after the final bell.

Gotti, the grandson of late New York mob boss John Gotti, got his combat sports career started in MMA and went 5-1 before shifting his focus to boxing. He has wins over Albert Tulley and Alex Citrowske as a pro.

Mayweather and Gotti pair will renew hostilities Saturday in Mexico City.
