Video: Jayden Daniels Hopes to Trade NFL Jerseys with Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, More

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is looking forward to trading jerseys with several of the NFL's top passers as he enters his rookie season.

Daniels listed Baltimore Ravens signal-caller Lamar Jackson and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow during a Friday appearance on the Best of Both Worlds podcast with LSU guard Flau'jae Johnson.

"First game, I went to Arizona State with him, one of my brothers Rachaad White, running back," Daniels said (6:40 mark). "Second game I play Malik (Nabers), so we're gonna jersey swap too. Lamar Jackson, for sure. I need that. Probably swap with Joey B, you gotta keep the LSU pride going."

Daniels and White were previously teammates at Arizona State from 2020 through 2021 before the running back was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

The rookie passer will also face off against another former teammate in Week 2, as New York Giants wideout Malik Nabers was Daniels' primary target at LSU during the 2023 season.

Burrow is also a former LSU standout, winning a Heisman Trophy and a national championship with the school during his 2019 college campaign.

Jackson owns a Heisman Trophy of his own, and Daniels has expressed his reverence for the two-time NFL MVP in the past.

"Lamar is a great player," Daniels said at the NFL Combine prior to the 2024 draft, via Nick Goss of NBC Sports Boston. "I don't like to compare myself to anybody, but there are some similarities. What he's doing, he's playing at a very high level, so kudos to him. He's the GOAT of this running and throwing, and I'm just following suit behind."

Daniels' jersey swap tour starts in Week 1, as the Commanders face off against the Buccaneers on Sept. 8.
