Video: Cowboys' Albert Huggins Knocks Down Member of Rams Coaching Staff After Drill

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Albert Huggins turned heads during Wednesday's practice, and it wasn't because of his impressive play.

As Jon Machota of The Athletic shared, Huggins drew the ire of some members of the Los Angeles Rams because he knocked over a member of their staff during a drill in the joint practice between the two teams:

Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News noted the defensive tackle was kicked out of practice.

Saad Yousuf of The Athletic reported Huggins flipped off members of the Rams as he was led off the field following the incident.

One Rams offensive lineman reportedly said the Cowboys "don't want to practice" following the ensuing skirmish, per ESPN's Todd Archer.

Los Angeles defeated Dallas 13-12 in Sunday's preseason game. Many of the starters for both teams, including quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford, did not take the field, although Huggins finished with two tackles as he fights for a roster spot.

The Clemson product has bounced around throughout his career, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons since the 2019 campaign.

He posted career highs in several categories for Atlanta last season, including games (13), tackles (22) and fumble recoveries (one). Still, he doesn't have a sack in his career and has mostly just been a rotational defensive lineman.

Huggins will get another chance to make an impression on Saturday when the Cowboys face the Las Vegas Raiders on the road in their second preseason game.
