Little League World Series 2024: Wednesday Schedule, TV Info and Bracket Predictions

The best teams in youth baseball return to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Wednesday for the start of the Little League World Series.

Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums will host the annual event featuring regional squads from around the world, all looking to follow in California's footsteps from a year ago and win the prestigious tournament.

The first round of the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series kicks off Wednesday in Williamsport with the following matchups:

• Caribbean Region vs. Mexico Region (1:00 p.m., International, Volunteer Stadium)
• New England Region vs. West Region (3:00 p.m., United States, Lamade Stadium)
• Asia-Pacific Region vs. Canada Region (5:00 p.m., International, Volunteer Stadium)
• Southeast Region vs. Midwest Region (7:00 p.m., United States, Lamade Stadium)

All games will be shown on ESPN and streamed on the ESPN+ app.

Host State Continues to Produce

The Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States bracket has been represented by Pennsylvania for the last three years and will be again in 2024.

It is the 37th time the state has appeared in the tournament and the second for Council Rock Newtown.

The team enters the tournament with a flawless 3-0 regional record. It overcame a tough Washington D.C. side early, plus a rain delay, to hang up five runs on eight hits.

Perhaps it is because of the added pressure of being the host state, but Pennsylvania is traditionally a tough out.

The state has won the entire tournament on four different occasions since 1947.

It remains to be seen how this year's squad will fare, but the eyes of the fans in Williamsport will be on them as they figure to be the overwhelming fan favorite in the field.
