Prichard and Brown have spent the past four years as Celtics teammates, winning a championship in 2024 by defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. Griffin, a six-time All-Star, appeared in 41 games with Boston during the 2022-23 season.

Although the 35-year-old elected to sit out the 2023-24 season to spend more time with his family before retiring on April 16, Pritchard was one of several Celtics players that "begged" him to return to the team for one more year (via Brian Robb of MassLive.com). While he didn't come back, it's clear that the bond between Griffin and his former teammates is still strong.

Pritchard played an important bench role for the Celtics throughout their title run, spacing the floor for the team's stars while showcasing a knack for hitting extremely deep threes.

Saturday was an eventful day for the 2023-24 Celtics team, as three starters also earned Olympic gold medals in Paris. Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White were all part of Team USA's run to the top of the podium.

All five active players will be returning to Boston next season, as the Celtics look to become the first team to win consecutive championships since the Golden State Warriors in 2018.
