Video: Bobby Lashley Confirms Boxing Fight in Las Vegas amid WWE Contract Rumors
What the future holds more broadly for Bobby Lashley remains up in the air, but it appears his next endeavor won't come in a wrestling ring.
During an appearance on The Laboratory with Plaz, (via Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), The All Mighty said he's eager to test himself outside of wrestling. To that end, he's already lining up a boxing match in Las Vegas against an opponent yet to be announced.
"I love to be able to push myself to do things that are ridiculous. I set goals for myself every day," he said. "What can I do? How far can I push myself? How much can I do? I want to run a marathon. I'm going to try to do that pretty soon. I'll do jiu-jitsu, I'm going to try and win a world championship in jiu-jitsu. I'm going to do a boxing match. We've already talked about this boxing match. I might have an opportunity to do it. I'm boxing somebody in Vegas. There is an opponent."

Fatu Ready to Upset Reigns, More Raw Fallout 👀
Lashley's contract with WWE is reportedly due to expire soon, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer (via F4WOnline's Bryan Rose) said a reunion with he and MVP in AEW was a possibility. His last WWE match was in May at a live event in France.
Before signing with WWE, the 48-year-old wrestled collegiately Missouri Valley College and was a three-time NAIA national champion. He has also tried his hand at MMA, compiling a 15-2 record as a pro.
Boxing would present Lashley with another new challenge.
