The first look at Travis Kelce on set at his new game show was released on Thursday, as the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end is set to host Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? on Prime Video this fall.

The show premieres on Oct. 16 and is a spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? The show was formally announced on April 16 and will contain 20 episodes produced by MGM Alternative, a division of Amazon MGM Studios.

"I grew up loving game shows, and I'm excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are you Smarter than a Celebrity," Kelce said as part of the announcement. "The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone's favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining."

The show will feature an adult contestant who will rely on a classroom of celebrities to answer 11 questions. The questions will be based on an array of subjects from elementary curriculum, as the contestants attempt to win a $100,000 prize. Contestants will be able to consult one celebrity ahead of the final question, which is worth $100,000 and is always at a sixth-grade level.

Kelce has already established himself as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, with nine Pro Bowl selections and three Super Bowl victories throughout his career. In 2023, he hauled in 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

The 34-year-old's popularity has continued to rise amid his relationship with superstar musician Taylor Swift, joining her on stage during her Eras tour show in London on June 23. Kelce also hosts the New Heights podcast with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, which has accumulated 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
