LeBron James Posts Photo of Drake's Nike Shoe; Attended Kendrick Lamar's June Concert

LeBron James does not appear to be taking sides in the Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake beef.

The Los Angeles Lakers star, who is currently in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics, posted Drake's special edition Air Force 1s on his Instagram story Monday:

Of course, James attended Kendrick's Juneteenth concert in Los Angeles, which doubled as. victory lap for the rapper in his head-to-head battle with Drake.

Lamar's Drake diss "Not Like Us" has been dominating the charts since its release and has become the unofficial song of the summer. The Mustard-produced banger was the exclamation point on arguably the most savage run of diss tracks ever recorded.

Lamar released four separate diss tracks within the span of a month, with "Euphoria," "6:16 in LA" and "Meet the Grahams" delving into the psyche of Drake before "Not Like Us" served as the slam dunk on top of his rival's head.

Drake held his own and had several strong disses of his own, highlighted by the scathing "Family Matters," but there was no question of the victor within the rap game or the cultural zeitgeist.

James has long been a fan of both artists, but his appearance at Lamar's concert in June appeared to show him taking sides. Monday's post may indicate he remains fully in Drake's corner even after the proverbial beatdown.
