Carlos Edriel Yulo made history Saturday as the first man from the Philippines to win Olympic gold in the men's floor exercise finals.

Great Britain's Jake Jarman, a reserve athlete in Tokyo who made his Olympic debut in Paris, claimed bronze with his score of 14.933.
The full final results are below.
Men's floor final results

Ukraine's Illia Kovtun was edged off the podium and claimed a fourth-place finish. His quest for a first Olympic medal will continue.
Great Britain's Luke Whitehouse, expected to be a favorite to challenge for gold, finished sixth in his first Olympics.
The difficulty of Yulo's routine helped him join Hidilyn Diaz, a weightlifter who won gold the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as the only Olympic gold medalists from his country.
Yulo now will have the chance to make more history on Sunday when he competes for another gold during the men's vault finals in Paris.
