Simone Biles Autographed 2016 Olympics Card Sells for Record $2.5K amid Paris Games
As Simone Biles dominates the mats at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, memorabilia from Olympics past still carry significant value.
A trading card from her 2016 Rio Summer Olympics sold for a record value of $2,500 on eBay on Saturday night. The Topps card features an autograph from the gymnast and shows her biting into a gold medal that she earned in the cycle.

2016 was Biles' first Olympics and she burst onto the scene with authority. She earned four golds and one bronze medal during the competition. She would earn an additional silver during the 2020 Summer Olympics and has re-emerged once again in 2024.
She currently has won two gold medals, one alongside her U.S. teammates and the other coming in the All-Around competition. She will have a few more chances to earn additional medals as well.
She is set to compete in the vault final on Sunday and will finish her Olympic slate on Monday with the balance beam and floor exercise finals. If she were to win gold in all three events, she would exceed her total from 2016.
