Video: Caleb Williams, Rookies Welcomed to NFL by Kevin Durant, Celebs and Family

On the eve of the first NFL game of the 2024 preseason, Fanatics gave the rookie class a special welcome to the league as they get acclimated to their new homes.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and other first-year players received special messages from their families and celebrity fans of their new teams, including Washington D.C. native Kevin Durant recording a shoutout to Jayden Daniels.

Durant even made sure to tell Daniels to make sure "you get some Mumbo sauce" and "put it on chicken, rice, everything."

Other notable celebrities in the video include Ashton Kutcher talking to Williams; Mark Wahlberg greeting New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye; Kevin Hart addressing Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley; and Guy Fieri telling Brock Bowers about being a member of the Raiders.

Los Angeles Chargers superfan Merrianne Do, who gained viral fame during a Monday night game against the Dallas Cowboys last season, may have gotten the biggest reaction based on Brenden Rice's excited expression when she appeared onscreen.

There are also some heartfelt messages from fans and family members, most notably from Xavier Legette's grandmother.

Wednesday marks the final day before the start of the 2024 NFL preseason. The Bears and Houston Texans will square off on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET in the Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
