Video: Mark Henry's Son Jacob Eyes WWE WrestleMania; Oklahoma Football Recruiting DL

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry's son Jacob already has his eyes set on following in his father's footsteps.

The elder Henry told TMZ that Jacob, who has committed to Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship, is hoping to one day make the transition to sports entertainment and perform on the grandest stage of them all.

"His true passion is pro wrestling," Mark said. "He's not trying to be the Olympic champion. He said, 'Dad, I'm not trying to go to the Pro Bowl or win the Super Bowl.' He said, 'I want to main event WrestleMania. I wanna go to Japan and be champion.'"

Jacob made his commitment to the Sooners wrestling program in February. After playing as a defensive lineman in high school, he has the potential to join Oklahoma's football team as well, Mark said. 247Sports ranked him as a 3-star prospect in the class of 2024.

"They wanted him to come out for spring football," Mark said, "so you might get to see him out there on that field too as a two-sport athlete."

Before Jacob can turn his attention toward a pro wrestling career, his dad made it clear that there's one requirement needed for him to allow it.

"He's gotta hand me that degree first," Mark said. "Him and my daughter both. I was like, 'Y'all hand me the degree, I will give you the keys to your inheritance and you can go do whatever you want to do.'"
