Diggs slipped 40 spots from his 2023 ranking. While he was a Pro Bowler for the fourth straight year and finished with 1,183 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, his 69.6 yards per game were his fewest since 2018.
Some are already wondering whether a gradual decline is underway for the prolific pass-catcher.
Surtain, meanwhile, is right about where he sat on the 2023 list (No. 49). He recorded 69 tackles along with one interception and 12 passes defended. Opposing quarterbacks had a 59.3 percent completion rate and a 88.2 passer rating when targeting the 2022 All-Pro, per Pro Football Reference.
Another Broncos defensive back is a notable inclusion in the Top 100.
Two-time Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons remains highly regarded by his peers, getting ranked at 57th. His wait for a new team nonetheless continues following his March release from Denver.
The Top 100 list gave Simmons, who finished 2023 with 70 tackles and three interceptions, a strong endorsement as he surveys the free-agent landscape.
