Fantasy Alert: Bears' Keenan Allen Says Rome Odunze 'Better Than Me' as a Rookie WR

Keenan Allen is already impressed with rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze.

"He's a little bit better than me when I came in," he told reporters Sunday. "He's faster. I think he comes out of his breaks better than I did when I was that young. He looks more polished than I was as a receiver."

The Bears went all in on improving the offense ahead of the 2024 season, drafting both Caleb Williams and Odunze, trading for Allen and signing running back D'Andre Swift. They'll pair with returning wideout D.J. Moore and tight end Cole Kmet to give the Bears what should be a potentially explosive offense.

As for Odunze, living up to the standard Allen has set in his career will be no small task. The veteran wideout is a six-time Pro Bowler, with six seasons eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards and five seasons reaching the 100-catch mark.

Odunze is dripping with potential, but he would be wise to learn everything he can from a proven star like Allen.
