British Open Cut Line 2024: Full List of Players Removed
Only 10 players finished the second round of the 2024 British Open below par as Friday's winds of over 30 miles per hour contributed to early exits by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau.
The low 70 players and ties advanced to play all four rounds of the Open, which put Friday's cutline at 6-over par.
Here's the full list of players who hit seven or over through Friday and will be headed home after Friday's blustery second round.

Woods shot a 6-over 77 Friday to close out his British Open appearance at 14-over par. In four major tournament appearances this season, the 82-time PGA Tour champion has hit a combined 44-over par.
This is not expected to be the last Open appearance for Woods, who said he will return for next year's tournament in Northern Ireland (h/t CNN's Jack Bantock.)
McIlroy entered Friday's second round seeking redemption from an opening-round 78. He did not find it, instead hitting a triple bogey on hole No. 4 en route to missing his first cut major tournament since 2022.
DeChambeau sat above the cut line after nine holes Friday, but bogeyed three times on the back stretch to finish the tournament 9-over par.
The 76-75 start marked DeChambeau's worst opening to a major since the 2022 Masters, and a disappointing end to a season that included a U.S. Open victory and runner-up finish at the PGA Championship.
Other notable players who missed the cut included Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Wyndham Clark, Tom Kim and Cameron Smith.
Shane Lowry will head into the next round with the advantage after leading all golfers with a 7-under 135 through two rounds. Players are expected to continue battling the elements with more wind and rain forecasted for Saturday's third round.
