Davante Adams 'Locked in' with Raiders, Intrigued by Aaron Rodgers, Jets Trade Rumors
There have been recent trade rumors linking Davante Adams to the New York Jets, given that his former teammate Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback.
Adams mostly put those rumors to be on Wednesday's Club Shay Shay podcast, hosted by Shannon Sharpe.
"I'm actively on the Raiders. What do I look like sitting here talking to other people about being on another team? And that's how I still feel about it right now," Adams said (h/t Eric Edholm of NFL.com). "I'm locked in with the Raiders, and I really feel good about this team, and as far as I know they feel good about me. If that ever changes, if that got to a point where they weren't feeling the same way, I ain't done playing, so obviously we would figure out whatever we needed to figure out."

But—and there was a but—if that situation ever did change, Adams would love to play with Rodgers again, though he isn't trying to make that happen right now.
"If I'm gonna be reunited with anybody, it would be Aaron... The thought of playing with Aaron is obviously amazing," he said. "I already know what that's like—which is similar to why I came here and reunited with Derek [Carr], 'cause I had familiarity with him. Anytime you have that, it gives you a little bit more confidence than starting fresh with somebody you've never played with before, and it helps when they're the best to ever play the game—or at least that's how I feel."
Adams' time with Rodgers in Green Bay was fruitful—he was a five-time Pro Bowler, two-time first-team All-Pro selection and had five seasons with double-digit touchdowns receptions. New York fans would love to reunite the pair; Las Vegas fans would be far less keen.
