Photo: Ohio State's Brandon Inniss Shows off 91-16 Blowout of Michigan in CFB 25

Ohio State wide receiver Brandon Inniss enjoyed early access to the EA Sports College Football 25 video game to the fullest on Monday.

Inniss took to X to post a photo of the 91-16 beatdown he laid on the Michigan Wolverines with his Buckeyes in his first foray into the new game.

The sophomore wideout ensured that he had a performance for the ages as well, as he used himself in the game to torch the rival Wolverines for 528 yards and 10 touchdowns on 24 receptions.

OSU's rivalry with "that team up north" is one of the biggest in college football history, but it has been one-sided in recent years.

In addition to leading the all-time series 61-51-6, the Wolverines have won three in a row against the Buckeyes, including last season's 30-24 home victory.

The Buckeyes had won eight in a row against Michigan before the Wolverines' recent run of success, but the script has been completely flipped.

Michigan has now won three consecutive Big Ten titles as well, and last season was one of the best in program history, as the Wolverines went undefeated and won the national championship.

Things could potentially shift back in Ohio State's favor in 2024, though, due to the amount of talent Michigan lost.

Along with 13 Michigan players getting selected in the 2024 NFL draft, head coach Jim Harbaugh left the college ranks to become head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, meaning Sherrone Moore is the Wolverines' new head man.

Meanwhile, OSU head coach Ryan Day was able to retain key players such as wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, running back TreVeyon Henderson and EDGE J.T. Tuimoloau, plus quarterback Will Howard transferred from Kansas State to the Buckeyes.

When Ohio State and Michigan meet in their annual rivalry game on Nov. 30 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, all of the aforementioned players figure to make a significant impact provided they are healthy.

What is less clear is how much of a role Inniss will have in 2024 as part of the stacked Buckeyes offense.

As a freshman last season, Inniss had only one reception, although it did go for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Inniss would likely prefer to put up much bigger numbers than that in 2024, especially if it means getting the opportunity to play a significant amount of snaps against the Wolverines.
