49ers' George Kittle Doesn't Regret 'F--k Dallas' Shirt 'and I Might Do It Again'

Scott PolacekJul 14, 2024

George Kittle isn't afraid to double down on his trash talk, even if the first time cost him some money.

The San Francisco 49ers tight end turned heads last season by wearing a shirt under his jersey that said "F--k Dallas" during his team's dominant 42-10 victory over the Cowboys in Week 5 of the 2023 campaign.

Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk noted the Netflix documentary series Receiver showed behind-the-scenes footage of Kittle talking with his teammates about the decision to wear the shirt and also lift his jersey to show it.

"How much of a fine is that? Fifteen?" Kittle asked. "I'm gonna get fined so much money."

He also said, "I don't regret it one bit. Not one bit, and I might do it again given the opportunity."

Kittle was ultimately fined $13,659 for the shirt, which also sparked some back-and-forths off the field as well.

Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons talked about it on The Edge with Micah Parsons and said, "I just feel like he's making it way more personal than it had to be. Kittle's my guy, but I'mma say this—laugh now, cry later. We've got something for that. Just trust. If we see them again, just trust."

San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel responded on Up & Adams by saying, "It was already personal before the game started. 42 to 10, I don't think you wanna see us again. It might be a little bit worse."

Get your popcorn ready because the two sides face each other again during the upcoming season on Oct. 27.
