LeBron, Tebow, Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter Set for College Football 25 Game Stream

A handful of celebrities and athletes will give fans a first look at EA Sports College Football 25 this weekend.

EA Sports announced Thursday that it will put on a College Football 25 Gameday Showcase on July 13 and 14 with a star-studded group set to play the game. The list of celebrities and athletes includes Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, Colorado stars Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, Tim Tebow and more.

The showcase will stream on Twitch with the players representing their respective schools and battling other celebrities in head-to-head matchups.

The showcase comes ahead of the release of College Football 25 on July 19.

The event should be entertaining as the stars play with the schools they either attend or are associated with. James, one of the most notable Ohio State fans, will get the chance to take on someone like comedian Shane Gillis, who will be playing with Notre Dame.

Fans could also get a video game look at Quinn Ewers and Texas vs. Donovan Edwards and Michigan—a matchup that could very well be played in the College Football Playoff this season.

Whatever the matchups will be, they will only add to the hype already surrounding College Football 25.

The release of the video game comes 11 years after the release of the last college football game from EA, NCAA 14. With restrictions on NIL in college sports, EA had been unable to produce another college football game.

After the NIL era in college sports began in 2021, EA quickly got to work on a new college football game, and that product is now ready for fans to play.

The game will feature fan-favorite game modes like Road to Glory and Dynasty mode along with new features like Ultimate Team. The different options will give fans the chance to play with their favorite college football players and prepare for what should be another exciting college football season.
