LeBron James Posts Video of Viral Steph Curry Team USA Highlight: 'We're Here Now!'

Stephen Curry and LeBron James played on the Team USA roster together for the first time during Wednesday's 86-72 victory over Canada in an Olympic warm-up exhibition, with the pair combining for an alley-oop that had fans hyped.

James then reposted the moment on Instagram.

"🧑🏽 🍳 X 🤴🏾 IS WHAT YALL BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR!" he wrote in the caption. "Well we're here now! LET'S GET IT! Summer time VIBEZ!! 🇺🇸"

The pair played well. Curry posted 12 points and three assists, while James added seven points, five rebounds and three assists.

It was a treat for many NBA fans to see the two definitive players of their generation teaming up for the United States, though the goal remains simple—gold medal or bust:

Wednesday's starters were Curry, James, Joel Embiid, Jrue Holiday and Devin Booker, though Kevin Durant seems likely to start at the Olympics once he's healthy. The second unit was primarily Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo and Anthony Davis and looked excellent as a unit.

Head coach Steve Kerr said those lineup machinations were hardly set in stone, though it does seem likely Curry, James and Embiid will start in Paris, even if the Philadelphia 76ers big man struggled in his Team USA debut, fouling out in the third quarter.

"You can't go wrong picking a starting lineup with this group," he told reporters. "I'm going to do something different in the next two games. We will look at a few different combinations before we settle on anything. We wanted to establish Joel early in the game knowing Canada didn't have any size. We wanted to play Bam and Anthony Davis with the second group. We wanted to experience what that looked like."

Offensively it didn't look great, but defensively Team USA clamped down a talented Canada side that featured players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jamal Murray and RJ Barrett.

"We could have been much better," Embiid told reporters. "We didn't take care of the ball. Defensively, we were pretty good. So that's where we're going to hang our hat, and offensively it's going to come."

Expect more alley-oops between Curry and James in Paris, in other words.
