
Joey Chestnut Accepts Challenge to Eat 200 Boneless Wings on Monday
Professional eater Joey Chestnut confirmed on social media Sunday that he will attempt to eat 200 boneless wings at Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday.
Chestnut has had an interesting summer. The 16-time Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest champion was barred from the event this summer after signing a sponsorship deal with Impossible Foods, which makes plant-based meat substitutes.

He instead competed at the Pop Goes the Fort celebration in El Paso and won that hot-dog eating contest by snarfing down 57 dogs in five minutes, while his four soldier competitors only ate a total of 49 hot dogs.
Chestnut would have easily won the annual Nathan's event had he been eligible—Patrick Bertoletti won by eating 58 dogs in 10 minutes. Chestnut almost beat his total in half the time.
Chestnut will also take on his longtime rival, Takeru Kobayashi, in a hot-dog eating contest on Labor Day.
