LeBron James' Career Earnings After Rumored $104M Lakers Contract in NBA Free Agency

LeBron James has reportedly agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers on a two-year, $104 million max contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. The deal has a player option and a no-trade clause, via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Per Spotrac, James would have estimated career earnings of $583,440,910 should he opt into the second year of his new deal. He has already earned $479,466,457 through 2024. Per Joe Kozlowski of Newsweek, James' career earnings rank No. 1 of all time in NBA history.

James has played 21 NBA seasons, winning four NBA MVP awards and four NBA titles. He's a 13-time All-NBA first-team member, 20-time All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist who also holds the NBA's career scoring title as well.

Obviously, he's well-deserving of his lucrative deals, and he's still going strong despite being in his third NBA decade. Last year, he averaged 25.7 points on 54.0 percent shooting, 8.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Now James will be playing alongside his son, Bronny, who was selected with the No. 55 overall pick in the NBA draft. This will mark the first time a father and son have been active in the Association at the same time, let alone on the same team.
