Tiffany Stratton Wins Women's WWE Money in the Bank Briefcase vs. Chelsea Green, More

Tiffany Stratton won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the same-titled premium live event on Saturday night, earning her a future women's championship match.

Six of the top Superstars the WWE women's division has to offer competed in Saturday's ladder match, but they had to earn their way in through a series of Triple Threat qualifying matches on Raw and SmackDown.

Iyo Sky beat Kiana James and Zelina Vega, Chelsea Green defeated Bianca Belair and Michin, Lyra Valkyria beat Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler, Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae, Naomi beat Blair Davenport and Indi Hartwell, and Zoey Stark defeated Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile.

In addition to the fact that there was plenty of talent involved, the women's MITB ladder match was intriguing due to the unique mix of competitors who qualified.

There were both longtime veterans and up-and-coming youngsters, as well as Superstars who had held singles gold in the past and those who were looking to do so for the first time.

Of the six combatants, Sky and Naomi are former women's champs on the WWE main roster with Sky being a one-time WWE women's champion and Naomi being a two-time SmackDown women's champion.

Stratton and Valkyria are both former NXT women's champions, but neither has won a title of any kind on the main roster.

Green is a former WWE women's tag team champion and Stark is a former NXT women's tag team champion, and both hoped to win Money in the Bank so they could take a huge step toward a singles championship.

Given her unique blend of athleticism and charisma, Stratton was the odds-on favorite entering Saturday's event, and she proved why.

Stratton quickly established herself as a future top star to watch during her time in NXT, and by virtue of winning Money in the Bank, the odds of her winning the women's title in the near future have gone up exponentially.
