Boxing Legend Roy Jones Jr. Announces His Son DeAndre Died by Suicide

DeAndre Jones, the son of Roy Jones Jr., died by suicide Saturday, the boxing legend announced Monday on social media.

He was 32.

Roy Jones Jr. is one of the most decorated fighters of his generation. He held championships in four different weight classes and was a silver medalist at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Jones returned to the boxing ring last year at age 54, losing to Anthony Pettis via majority decision.
