Michael Chandler Clowns Conor McGregor Video in Response to UFC Star's Troll Meme
It didn't take Michael Chandler long to fire back at Conor McGregor after he tweeted-then-deleted a meme making fun of him for still planning on attending UFC 303 as a spectator following the cancellation of their main-event fight.
McGregor, who was forced to pull out of the June 29 fight due to a broken toe, appeared at Saturday's Bellator Dublin event at the 3Arena, which was the same venue that was supposed to hold his canceled press conference with Chandler.
While the Irishman was there to corner his teammate, Sinead Kavanagh, Chandler still called him out on social media for his appearance at the event:
Chandler is understandably annoyed with McGregor, as the two of them have been expected to face each other since they filmed a season of The Ultimate Fighter reality competition series in early 2023. Chandler hasn't appeared in the Octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier in November 2022.
McGregor's injury isn't expected to sideline him for too long, so it remains to be seen when the company will reschedule his fight against Chandler to take place.
