Tom Brady Posts Jack Nicholson Meme As Al Horford Wears His Shirt to Celtics Parade
Former NFL star Tom Brady appreciates the nod Boston Celtics center Al Horford sent to his past title celebrations at Friday's Celtics championship parade.
Brady responded on X to an image of Horford wearing a shirt printed with Brady celebrating his Super Bowl win from the 2020 season (celebrated in February 2021):

The image is from Brady's celebration of his seventh Super Bowl win with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which the former NFL star later blamed on a "little avocado tequila":
Horford and the Celtics hit the streets at 11 a.m. to celebrate their own record 18th NBA title.
The video of Brady walking with help from backup quarterback Ryan Griffin wasn't the only moment that went viral during the Bucs' parade. Brady also drew attention by tossing the Lombardi Trophy across the water into another boat:
There's a chance that Horford and the Celtics could have a similarly risky moment with the Larry O'Brien Trophy, although it may not be over water. Players will drive the streets of the Celtics parade in amphibious duck boats.
This is not the first time Brady has supported other athletes in their endeavor to celebrate a title win. He joked that the Tampa Bay Lightning could cap off their 2021 win of the Stanley Cup with a similar toss of the NHL's heavier championship trophy:
Two years later, Brady shouted out Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on X after Mahomes handed the Lombardi away to a fan while taking a selfie during the team's 2023 parade:
The last time the city of Boston had celebrated a championship win was thanks to Brady, who led the Patriots to victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII in 2019.
Horford and the Celtics followed that up by finishing off a five-game series victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday to end a five-year drought for the city and mark the region's 40th professional sports title between the Patriots, Celtics, Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox.
