Aaron Rodgers Practice Video Posted by Jets Owner: QB 'Looked as Good as Ever'

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson feels confident about his quarterback this offseason.

Johnson posted a video of Rodgers' highlights from the spring on social media Thursday, saying the veteran "looked as good as ever this spring."

In the video Johnson posted, Rodgers completed a handful of passes and looked mobile on the practice field—a good sign after he missed the entire 2023 season with a torn Achilles suffered in Week 1.

The Jets had high hopes for Rodgers as he took over under center last year, but they got just a few minutes out of him before he was sidelined for the rest of the year. Now, the 40-year-old is looking to stay healthy and lead New York to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

In his last healthy season in 2022, Rodgers threw for 3,695 passing yards and 26 touchdowns, and he'll hope to replicate that success this year. Whether being off the field for a year will impact him significantly is still unclear.

But Johnson believes Rodgers is due for a big year, and he'll be looking to prove his owner right.

The Jets completed their offseason minicamp last week and will begin training camp in late July, giving Rodgers more time to get valuable reps in before the start of the season.
