Eagles' A.J. Brown Calls for Offseason NFL WR Camp: 'Willing to Work with Whoever'

Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown made a call for solidarity among his fellow wide receivers and players at other positions during the offseason.

In a post on X, Brown suggested individual positions should gather for a weekend and help share any tips and guidance:

It's not as though NFL players don't already share information or reach out to one another directly for advice. Doing more to formalize those relationships, especially among specific positions, could pay off in more ways than one.

There's the obvious benefit of players further refining their games by figuring out thanks to their colleagues what does and doesn't work. Imagine being a receiver just entering the NFL and chatting with Brown or Hill, both of whom have made multiple Pro Bowls.

Building a sense of unity would also be invaluable at times when collective action is needed.

Take running backs, for example.

Veteran ball-carriers have seen their earning power steadily decrease as general managers have come to view them as less vital and more easily replaceable. Last offseason, a number of running backs gathered over Zoom to brainstorm ways to remedy the situation.

Absent a clear solution, a consolidated front such as that is the kind of thing that could theoretically effect change.
