Video: Tom Brady's Kids Narrate Tribute to NFL Legend Ahead of Patriots HOF Ceremony
The children of New England Patriots legend Tom Brady surprised their father with a video tribute celebrating his Wednesday induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame.
"My kids surprised me this morning with this video, and I wanted to share it with my Patriots family too," Brady wrote on his Instagram. "What a ride. See you tonight New England."
The video concludes with the narration: "Congratulations on your induction to the Patriots Hall of Fame. Just don't get any ideas when you walk past the locker room tonight."
Brady retired from the NFL in early 2023 after 20 seasons with the Patriots and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is now set to become the 35th person to enter the Patriots Hall of Fame.
The video highlighted photos from the six Super Bowls Brady won with the Patriots in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
The tribute also displayed Brady's six rings, alongside a list of records he set during his Patriots career.
These records included Brady's six Super Bowl wins as a starting quarterback as well as his 2,838 Super Bowl passing yards and 277 Super Bowl completions.
The list also honored Brady's single-game championship records, including his 43-of-62 passing effort against the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, which marked both the most attempts and completions ever recorded in a Super Bowl.
The video also highlighted the quote "I am a Patriot for life," which Brady told the crowd at Gillette Stadium in September 2023 when the team first announced his upcoming team Hall of Fame induction.
The video ended with a series of flashbacks, including an image from Brady's 20-5 college career as a quarterback for Michigan.
"Even if you stayed fourth-string your whole career, it wouldn't change how much love our family had," the narration said.
More than 100 of Brady's former teammates including Julian Edelman, Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski are expected to attend his Hall of Fame ceremony in Foxborough, according to Patriots.com's Alexandra Francisco.
Brady's children Jack, Benjamin and Vivian were present in September for the announcement of Brady's induction and could also be in attendance when his enshrinement becomes official Wednesday night.
