NFL Network's Scott Hanson confirmed that he was the man in a viral video confronting a TikTok user filming the scene of a car crash.

Hanson said Wednesday on X that he witnessed a crash involving two vehicles, and stopped to check on the drivers involved before addressing the TikTok user reaching inside an upturned car.

The NFL RedZone host said he recorded the user in case he was "tampering with the scene of a crime."

The video shows the TikTok user approaching an upturned car, at which point Hanson says, "Hey, dude, what are you doing?"

The next cut shows Hanson recording the TikTok user, who Hanson said left when police arrived at the scene.

Hanson joined NFL Media in 2006 and has hosted NFL RedZone since its inaugural season in 2009. He is set to host a similar whip-around show this summer when NBCUniversal's Gold Zone covers the 2024 Paris Olympics in July.
